Our annual Toast ‘N’ Roast Gala is held every October and honors local community members while giving them an entertaining gentle ribbing and simultaneously raising money for Wellsprings Friends School daily operations. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we could not hold an in person gala this year. Instead we held the first ever Wellsprings Friends School Tele-friend Telethon on October 21st. Our live-streamed event was hosted by Storm Kennedy and featured music from Greg Nestler Band and alumni singer/songwriter Makenzie Brennan as well as our Alumni Artist spotlights sponsored by Wildcraft Cider Works , Big Foot Muay Thai Academy and Pacific Office Automation. Our focus on artists and Wellspring alumni Ian Axe (2009) - Glassblower/Iron worker/Painter, Robby Sanders (2009) - Tattoo artist, and Rachel Wolfe-Goldsmith (2008) - Muralist was inspiring and heartwarming.

You can watch the full telethon. Or just the videos of Ian, Rachel and Robby.
